Computer Lab

The Computer Lab consists of 24 state of the art desktop computers with flat screen monitors.  Within the lab, we have a color printer and a laserjet printer.  There are many applications for the students to choose from including Microsoft Office Professional Edition.  All students in grades 1st - 6th are scheduled in the lab at least once a week.  Jr. High students use the computers almost everyday.  Every student has their own set of headphones and 5th-8th graders have their own CD to save their work.    The students have access to the internet with teacher guidance only.  Every classroom has internet access.  EDCS uses a filtering and monitoring system to block inappropriate sites.

We also have 26 Laptop computers in 2 mobile storage carts for 5th and 6th grades for in class use.  Each cart has a laser printer and each computer has wireless connection to the internet.

The Junior High students use another set of 26 laptops from a mobile storage cart with a laser printer.  The students are able to take a laptop from the lab and access the internet and printer from all of their classes.
